Brownfield’s Prosthetic and Orthotic Technologies, Incorporated, has serviced the Boise Valley and surrounding area for over 50 years. As a fully accredited provider under the authority of the American Board for Certification in Prosthetics and Orthotics, Brownfield’s is a full service health care provider in the fields of Prosthetics, Orthotics, and Pedorthics, specializing in fabrication and patient care management.

The scope of our care involves all ages, pediatrics through geriatrics. Brownfield’s prides itself on having three Certified Prosthetist/Orthotists, one Certified Prosthetist, one Certified Orthotist, one Certified Pedorthist, one Registered Prosthetic and Orthotic Assistant, one Certified Orthotic Technician and two Certified Fitters on staff.

Meet Our Staff

Brownfield’s is committed to providing its customers with a professional and accredited staff offering the finest of talents available in our industry. Our practitioner and technical staff participate regularly in extended training sessions and continuing educational programs to ensure that the services we offer include the latest of technological developments and patient care enhancements.

Brownfield’s currently has fifteen staff employees including four certified Prosthetists / Orthotists (CPO’s), one certified Prosthetist (CP), one certified Pedorthist (C.Ped), and three registered technicians.

	Barry Jones, C.P.O. President and Owner Barry graduated from University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas where he received his Bachelor of Science in Prosthetics and Orthotics. Upon graduation, he began his practical experience and employment at Brownfield’s. Additionally, Barry is President and owner of Brownfield’s, Inc.
	Tom Padilla, C.P.O. Tom received his B.A. in Sports Medicine from the University of Pacific and his B.S. in Prosthetics and Orthotics from the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center, Dallas. He began his prosthetic and orthotic employment at Texas Scottish Rite Hospital for Children. Tom’s specialty is pediatric prosthetics and orthotics. Additionally, Tom is Vice President and co-owner of Brownfield's, Inc.
	Gary Jones, C.P. Gary graduated from Northwestern University and received his certification in Prosthetics. Gary has over thirty years of experience at Brownfield’s and serves as the staff’s Chief Prosthetist. His specialty is upper and lower artificial limbs and he is trained in providing the Computerized Leg (C-Leg).
	Dennis Swigart, C.P.O. Dennis was educated at the University of California in Los Angeles through the prosthetic and orthotics program, and brings 26 years of experience to Brownfield’s. Specializing in upper and lower artificial limbs and custom bracing, he previously served as Chief Prosthetist at Stanford Medical Center.
	Al Jorgensen, C.O. Al has a degree in Sports Medicine from Brigham Young University and attended the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas for Prosthetics and Orthotics. He received his orthotics certification in 2002. Al came to Brownfield’s from Hanger Prosthetics and Orthotics in Wisconsin.
	Debbie King, C.F.O.M. Debbie has been certified by the Camp Institute of Applied Technology and the American Board for Certification in Orthotics and Prosthetics. She manages the Boutique specializing in post mastectomy products and support garments.
	Lisa Malespin, C.F.O.M. Lisa is a certified fitter of orthotics and mastectomy with the American Board for Certification in Orthotics and Prosthetics. She received her certification from the Camp Institute of Applied Technology. Lisa is also a certified fitter of Juzo and Mediven compression garments.
